About De

De studied Religion at Liberty University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in 2009.  She later attended Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and received a Masters of Divinity in May 2013; her degree focused on Old Testament Studies and Biblical Languages.

Throughout her life, De has always had a passion for knowing the Bible, spending much of her childhood memorizing Scripture.  She has often sought out ways to study the Bible in depth more; furthermore, she has worked to teach and prepare lessons for study from her youth.

Teaching and writing have been life-long passions and natural gifts for De.  Through her personal study, she has discovered how healing and transforming the simple truth of the Word of God can be.  This is why her Studies here are not written as "lessons" or "study guides," but rather just a synopsis of the studying she is doing while working through the steps of Inductive Bible Study:  Prepare, Observe, Interpret, Apply, Transform.

De and her husband Doug love to play games, read, and visit with their friends and family. While De loves to sing, shop, and watch TV, Doug is a movie-buff and puzzle-solver.
